Transformers Celebrate Junkion History Month

In a landmark display of racial sensitivity, Autobot leader Optimus Prime announced that May be Junkion History Month from now on.

"This is a very important event for the oppressed Junkions," explained Prowl, one of Optimus Prime's well-trusted soldiers.

The Junkions have been through many difficult times as a people. For example, last season's new fall schedule included not three, but four family sitcoms. Perhaps the worst experience the Junkions have ever had was the appearance of Bosom Buddies, followed closely by 1982 debut of Joanie Loves Chachie.

"We just couldn't handle it," explained a sad Wreck-Gar. "It was one blow followed by another."

Wreck-Gar refused to even discuss the disastrous 1983 ABC Saturday morning line-up.

Included as part of the festivities are a tribute to the Jackie Gleason show and a Growing Pains marathon.

A Decepticon attack is expected.
